Bar Goa is a clubby Indian Restaurant and Cocktail bar in the party district of Chicago's River North neighborhood. Bar Goa transports Chicagoans year-round to India’s sunny southwest coast, a region known for electronic music, beautiful beaches, and where Indian flavors meet Portuguese influences. Enjoy Bar Bites and Indian Classics while sipping on resort-style cocktails, Bar Goa Beer, and the most unique collection of Whiskeys in the city. DJ sets and Bollywood Brunches add to the unique vibes at Bar Goa.
MONARCH & LION
Monarch & Lion is an authentic English pub in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood. Rediscovered and reinvented with roots steeped deep in the long history of Great Britain’s pub culture, we have a menu that plays on the rich and classic flavors with fresh, local ingredients. The beverage program features an array of custom-distilled gin-based cocktails and traditional Pimms to honor its rich heritage. This warm neighborhood pub with soaring ceilings will foster spaces for locals and visitors alike to gather and celebrate. Coming Summer 2023

MANISH MALLICK, Owner
Manish is the owner & operator at ROOP Chicago, Bar Goa, Yasemi & Monarch & Lion. One of Manish’s biggest passions has been meeting new people, forming meaningful connections and serving the communities in need. The hospitality industry lets him do just that everyday. He successfully runs operations, finances, and implements systems and process improvements to operate and scale the business efficiently.
He spent most of his career in marketing, finance and technology. He has a successful track record of driving operational efficiencies in the automotive, finance & legal industries using Cloud based technologies. He has made significant contributions working for some of the icons of the US economy, namely, General Motors in marketing and asset management, JP Morgan Chase in the security division & Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
RINA MALLICK, OWNER
Rina has always had a love of food, travel and travel photography which has played a big role in Manish and Rina’s interest in the culinary scene and the hospitality industry. She leads branding, design, marketing, website, social media and events for ROOP Chicago, Monarch & Lion , Bar Goa and the coming soon Yasemi.
Rina spent 20+ years in the advertising space. Mostly recently as a Group Creative Director at Critical Mass specializing in branding, digital and social media.
She has worked across many verticals on large clients including Jeep, Lincoln, Sprint, Nissan, Johnson & Johnson, Asics, Depaul University, and more.
